During CES Epson had unveiled a new projector for the home but lacking 1080p was always going to be a tough sell for the biggest brand in projectors. Those of you not looking for a home version would have wondered when the more series Epson projector lineup would get an update, and you’ll be pleased to know that the announcement of new models was made yesterday.
The new Epson PowerLite Pro G-Series projectors consists of 7 models and builds upon the current generation to make these the best that Epson has to offer to date. These new models have some amazing new features, such as 360-degree installation, more connectivity options, edge bleeding and so much more, all of which are designed to work in a variety of venues.
Those 7 new models consist of the PowerLite Pro G6050W, G6150, G6450WU, G6550WU, G6750WU, G6800 and the G6900WU. Prices range from $3,799 to $6,499 and will have a staggered release from April to June. We’re told that the design of the new PowerLite Pro range of projectors have seen some minor improvements, but what they look like is never going to be a concern in the corporate world because it’s all about those all-important features.
There are several new features that are key when holding a demonstration, which are only now coming to the Pro-G Series of projectors, such as a short throw lens, increased adjustment abilities, split screen with more advanced features, 3D stackable, lens shift lock and so much more.
Businesses know that they need such features if they are to be taken more seriously in the corporate world, because there’s nothing worse than not being able to show a presentation in the way that you would like to.
