We have some good news for PS Plus subscribers in Europe, as Sony has just revealed the free content that will be up for download as part of your membership. The package allows PS3 and PS Vita owners to score some free games every month and we’re pleased to say that there’s a great game on offer for PS3 owners this month.
Sleeping Dogs, the GTA-esque crime adventure set in Hong Kong was a brilliant game and it is part of the lineup for February. If you have a subscription you can download it free of charge starting from February 6. Also available is F1 Race Stars and Quantum Conundrum on the same day, but Sleeping Dogs is the definite highlight here so if you haven’t played it yet you should really give it a go.
For PS Vita owners, there’s less choice on offer and you’ll be lucky to not have already played the likes of WipEout 2048 and Lumines. Both are included as free downloads for February and they’ll be available slightly later on February 13 and February 20 respectively.
If you don’t have a PS Plus membership but are thinking of subscribing, you’ll also be pleased to hear that Sony will have a discount on the go, in which gamers can get a 30% off deal for the 90 day PS Plus package – existing members can also take advantage of this deal if you are ready to commit for a few more months.
What are your thoughts on the free games for February – a weak lineup or are you satisfied? We’re very surprised that Sleeping Dogs has been included as it is still a relatively new game.
