There are now 5 of the recently released Retina MacBook Pro’s in the refurbished line-up, which include 13 and 15-inch models. This is certainly great news for those who have been holding off purchasing a new model because of their price, as these refurbished units will save you 15 percent, and although this doesn’t sound like much when you consider their high price it’s a significant saving.
Like we said above there are five models of the Refurbished Retina MacBook Pro on Apple’s Store, so now you just have to choose which one is right for you. First is the 13.3-inch 2.5GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5 model with a price of $1,439.00, that’s a saving of $260. There’s also another model with the same processor but this one will cost you $1,699.00 saving you $300. The difference between the two is the former has a 128GB Flash Storage and the latter 256GB, both are 2012 models.
The next MacBook Pro with Retina display is the 15.4-inch 2.3GHz Quad-core Intel i7 model with a standard 750GB hard drive. The price you will pay today is $1,869.00, a saving of $360.
Finally there are the 2.6GHz and 2.7GHz 15.4-inch models with 512GB and 768GB Flash Storage, prices are $2,379.00 and $3,189.00 respectively. The former is a huge saving of $420.00 and the latter $560. While these refurbished models will still be out of reach for some, it does make it far more affordable for others and could be further proof that Apple are now considering updating their MacBook Pro range once again.
