GameStick has a simple aim to become the most portable games console ever made and those behind this project are selling that idea of Kickstarter. It seems that over 3,000 people believe in this solution to putting games on TV via a tiny console that is also the controller, which is clearly seen by the 3,698 backers at the time of writing. These backers have pledged $366,181 through the Kickstarter website already, and this is much more than the original $100,000 goal.
GameStick challenged with DMCA – you can see a video below this article that explains exactly what the GameStick aims to be and delivers a nice visual look at this future portable TV games console. It is worth noting that the GameStick Kickstarter project recently had been removed from the official website, and has since returned are a DMCA complaint had been received. Kickstarter commented on this situation only a few days ago and stated, “the DMCA process for GameStick is complete”. They then returned the project to their website and it can be seen on this page.
The GameStick project might have hit over $350,000 but some other goals have been published, which includes targets up to $560K for the inclusion of a MicroSD card slot plus more colors. You can see these goals in the image below.
