Now that we’ve started a new year it means that certain analysts will be looking ahead at what might happen over the next few weeks and months. This includes looking at CES 2013, which is just a few days away, and also further in the future at the Apple iPhone 5S release date and what features that phone could include. Some of these analysts might even claim to have insider information, and also a track record showing they’ve been right in the past on a few things.
Today’s iPhone 5S rumor is one we’re skeptical about – you might have heard a few statements from Brian White, a Topeka Capital Markets analyst, before and his latest forecasting seems a little strange in our opinion. This article is claiming that White thinks more colors and sizes will be included when the iPhone 5S sees a launch in a few months, and is scheduled for production in 2 to 3 months time.

We had been one of the first websites to state that WWDC 2013 could see the return of Apple’s iPhone, which would be thanks to the end of the year getting crowded with many Apple products launching. The iPhone 5S, the name it will likely be called, can do with more room considering it is Apple’s main product in terms of sales.
More colors for the iPhone 5S seems like an old idea – this really doesn’t seem likely in our opinion, and while the iPod touch looked pretty cool with more colors, as seen in the image above, it just seems like something unwelcomed with the iPhone 5S/6. If you want a different color smartphone then most people just purchase a case, which there are a massive number that will style and protect your iPhone.
The iPhone 5S in a number of sizes – this also sounds very unlike Apple, and considering the change to a longer display that stayed the same width, we find it hard to believe Apple will launch an iPhone 5S as soon as June/July with a number of sizes to choose from.
Where do you think analysts get these ideas from, and do you expect more colors and sizes to feature with the iPhone 5S? What features do you want to see included with Apple’s next phone? You can read about the possibility of the iPhone 5S and iOS 7 being in testing here.
