Considering the problems getting hold of an LG Nexus 4 you’d think Google would help by directing users to stores that have stock, although this wish has certainly been granted in the US and it seems that T-Mobile is the beneficiary for the LG Nexus 4 redirection. You might have already seen the message on the Google play store, and if you were checking several times a day then you almost certainly would have seen a special offer from T-Mobile being promoted for the Nexus 4.
You can see that Google are offering the 8GB Nexus 4 for just under $300, but this currently states sold out, although it seems too good to be true that T-Mobile are being suggested at under $200 on a 2 year contract. It is worth noting that this offer is after a small rebate, which the details can be read on the official T-Mobile website here for Nexus 4, which is where Google direct you from the play store. The image below is a quick screenshot taken from the Google play store and includes the promotional text that Google feature, which will make some people really happy until they click the learn more link.
Why suggest T-Mobile for the Nexus 4 and then fail to deliver? The big problem Google has is demand and they cannot meet the Nexus 4 demand, which is causing a lot of frustration for those that want this handset, so offering T-Mobile as another solution and then when you visit their website you see another message stating “Out of Stock“, how should users feel?
The desperation for finding LG Nexus 4 stock has led to some people creating services to help users, which is exactly what one free Android app has tried to do that only just released today. You can take a look at this stock checker in our earlier article, although if you’ve used it feel free to hit the comments with how useful you found it. Will the Nexus 4 be at the top of your Christmas list, if so you best write a letter to Santa as soon as possible?
