New COD Black Ops 2 surprise trailer

By Posted 29 Oct 2012, 17:15

Within the last hour a new COD Black Ops 2 trailer has gone live on the official Call of Duty website with the title Surprise, although in a strange twist it seems that YouTube have classed this new video as spam or something else that gives them a reason to remove it, and when you try to play the new Black Ops 2 trailer you see the message printed in the image below.

Luckily there are a few more sources that have the video and one of these is the official Xbox channel on YouTube, so we’ve included the “Surprise” Black Ops 2 video below this article, which runs for one minute and 6 seconds. It is pretty cool and has already met with thousands of approvals from avid gamers and Call of Duty fans. For us this has been one of the most fun trailers to date, although we’ll let you debate that one in the comments.

We contacted the support section of the official Call of Duty website to find out why the new Black Ops 2 trailer has been removed from YouTube, although we didn’t hear back before we published. You can expect it to be just a small issue or misunderstanding, so if you prefer to watch videos via the official website it should go live soon.

The “Surprise” Black Ops 2 trailer can be seen on the official website here, and has an upload date of 10/29/2012. The live action trailer has been directed by Guy Ritchie and gives gamers a look at the “near-future” weapons from Black Ops 2, so take a look below and let us know what you think. You can also see another video from earlier today that looks at Black Ops 2 from the insight of experts.

Update: It seems that the powers that be have fixed the issue with the new video on callofduty.com, so take a look and let us know where your excitement level is right now for the Black Ops 2 launch?
