There is something about putting two of the most popular smartphones into a blender and tearing them apart, which really gains the interest of the masses and delivers thousands of video views. This has been shown after the most recent Samsung Galaxy S3 vs. iPhone 5 comparison, which saw both devices put into a mixer to see what phone blends best.
We hated these tests at first thanks to our distaste of seeing good hardware being destroyed, even worse for people that haven’t got the money for a new Apple iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S3, but we now see the fun side to this exercise. You can see both devices in the photo below just before the blender did its job; so if you want to see how this Galaxy S3 vs. iPhone 5 test ended, then watch the video below this article.
This fun review of Apple’s iPhone 5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S3 does touch on a few specs for each device, but if you want a more sensible comparison then you should see our previous articles that look at both devices closely, give you a full break down of specs, and put the new technology through some other tests. You can see a Galaxy S3 vs. iPhone 5 review here that focuses on specs/features, and another here that looks at the HTML5 performance for both although the Android device is lacking Jelly Bean, so another review might be needed in the future.
Apple iPad mini vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in the blender – the next test by Tom needs to put the Galaxy Note 2 against the iPad mini, and with both devices due to release this month in the US it couldn’t be a hotter topic. The other reason we want to see these devices next, other than more Android vs. iOS, is because these are pretty close in size with the Galaxy Note 2 being an alternative to buying a tablet.
Would you like to see the iPad mini vs. Galaxy Note 2 in the blender next, and if not what devices would you like to see? Also we’d love to know what you think about these crazy blending tests, do you find them fun or just stupid?
