Apple invite shadow 5

By Updated on

This week has been dominated by news of the Apple invite and shadow 5, which is thanks to their September 12 event and simple invitation that made its way online yesterday. You might think the Apple invite represents the only event taking place, but there are also conferences taking place for HTC, Amazon, and Microsoft. This shows the power Apple has over the technology industry, and the shadow 5 has started a new batch of rumors.

Following our report about the Apple iPhone 5 event and what we believed to be a shadow signaling the name of the next iPhone, it is now clear that not everyone shares this same feeling. Apple’s invite could include the shadow 5 for a date, just like the 12 means the event date, it is the belief of some people that the release date for iPhone will fall on October 5th. In our opinion this couldn’t be correct after finding out that both AT&T and Verizon are blocking vacations two weeks before this, but of course anything is possible with Apple.

We have zoomed in on the shadow 5 from the Apple invite below, and we’d love to know what you think this clue means? Why do you think Apple included the number five in the invitation, and could it really be so obvious?

There are a number of Android fans that really want to see how the latest iPhone stacks up against the Samsung Galaxy S3, and if it really delivers the innovation Apple has been talking about during their patent trial. Some smartphone users feel that an iPhone 5 with NFC, a bigger display, and faster processor isn’t anything innovative and would be Apple playing catch up.

The leaked images of the iPhone 5 that have landed online over and over are nothing special to some people, and these users want a big surprise that truly innovates. If the phone ends up a bit thinner and a bit longer, then this is almost the same and nothing majorly redesigned.

What if the Apple invite shadow 5 means a bigger iPhone display? One way Apple could really surprise people is with a 5-inch display, and some fans feel this would be an excellent idea, although others would only want it as an extra model, so it is not forced upon them. Would you like to see a 5-inch iPhone 5?

The image above is thanks to iPhonenieuwsblog.nl and if this is not a fake, then we have another major upset towards what the Apple invite and shadow 5 means. The image shows packing for the iPhone 5, although if this is true then it will be called “The new iPhone“, which would leave us wondering what the shadow really means. You can also see five vertical rows of icons within the image, so it could very well be the real deal.

We’re now just under 7 days away from the Apple event, so it won’t be long before everything is revealed, but in the meantime share a comment on what you think the shadow represents.

Where do you see it? Upon zoom in, I see the standard app layout for iOS 6 on the “iPhone 5″.

This looks to be correct. The “shadow 5″ is most likely to be the “iPod 5G” as everyone on the net calls it. “The New iPhone” also might state just packaging. What has been labeled in testing is “iPhone 5,_” as developer exclusive test devices. There is also mention in a few databases (to be left unnamed for there company privacy) as “iPhone 5, The New iPhone” or such like that.
