Samsung Galaxy S3 accessory solves battery woes

By Updated on

Attention all Samsung Galaxy S3 owners now, as we may have found an ideal solution for those of you who continue to endure battery life woes. A lot of you are complaining about mediocre battery life and the time it takes to charge, but Mophie plans to make life a lot more easier by providing their once exclusive to iOS battery life juice packs.

If you have used one of these babies on the iPhone 4 or 4S, you’ll know that Mophie’s Juice Packs have a pretty good reputation for providing extra power to your handset, while still maintaining the design elegance of your handset.

As mentioned above, Mophie were common providers of battery life packs for the iPhone, but now they are extending their love to Android and new Galaxy S3 owners who are in need of extra power. There hasn’t been an official release date yet, but an image supplied by Engadget proves that they are on the way, and we’re hoping in a variety of cases as well.

If they follow their iPhone strategy, we could be seeing the Mophie Juice Pack Plus and the Juice Pack Pro for the Galaxy S3. Both packs will offer around double the battery life you are currently getting right now, while the Pro version from Mophie could offer superior protection if it comes in a similar flavor to the iOS counterpart.

There’s also no word on price at the moment, but if it falls in line with the same cases for iOS, then we could seeing the Juice Pack Pro at $130 and the Juice Pack Plus at $99. That is obviously not cheap, but as far as battery life packs go, Mophie seem to be one of the best.

Have you used a Mophie pack before? Let us know if you have been having problems with battery life on the Galaxy S3 and are interested in getting one of these.

This is seriously stupid. i’ve got a 4200 mah battery for 16.99 and a case for 5.99 and you can even use a stock otterbox if you care to do a little dremeling. That’s way less cost than one of those. Remember these are android phones you can actually easily swap out the stock battery for something better.

Just carry a couple of spare charged batteries in your pocket .. smaller than hefting that thing attached to your phone all the time and the non branded batteries and chargers are dirt cheap.- Exchangable battery is one of the huge benefits of the S3 over the i-phone and new HTCs

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. My battery life is exceptional. I install/flash custom rooms and have a choice of various kernels and by doing that I get brilliant battery life. I certainly would not waste my money on a mophie. Just buy a battery of eBay Gore’s next to nothing. These are android phones not iPhone’s £100 are u joking
