World of Warcraft fanatics finally have some good news to be happy about at last. It has been a long time coming, but Blizzard has now finalized their preparations for the upcoming Mists of Pandaria expansion and confirmed a release date for when it will be out.
You don’t really have that long to wait either. The expansion will officially be hitting stores and online retailers on September 25. Mists of Pandaria is the fourth expansion for the World of Warcraft phenomenon and you’ll be able to upgrade to the expansion from your existing copy for a sum of £29.99 for the standard edition.
If you’re not aware, there’s also going to be several other editions available as well for those who are willing to spend a little more for a few extra goodies. The ‘digital deluxe’ version will cost £39.99 and will include several in-game items such as the Imperial Quilen flying mount, Infested Orc and a Lucky Quilen Cub pet. There’s also going to be a few Starcraft 2 and Dibalo 3 related goodies as well.
If that’s not enough for you – you may be interested in the collector’s edition for £59.99. This is the daddy of them all and aside from all of the items in the deluxe edition, you’ll also get a behind the scenes Blu-Ray, a MoP mouse pad, a hardback art book and a soundtrack with 20 tunes from the game.
The collector’s edition contains a nice bounty for sure, but it remains to be seen just how many are willing to pay the full price of a game for it, knowing that you also have to contend with monthly subscriptions. If this is a no-brainer for you though, you may want to go ahead and pre-order now, as you can install all of the files needed early. This way you are all set to play the very minute that Blizzard go live with their MoP servers.
