Many of you are probably what has happened to the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet device after a long period of exile after its initial unveiling. We’re glad to say though that a US release looks to be happening very soon, as an unboxing of the impressive-looking device has now been compiled over in Korea.

It’s true – some lucky Koreans are now seemingly able to get their hands on this device right now and there’s a big bonus waiting for anyone that does. Just like the Korean version of the Galaxy S3, the Galaxy Note 10.1 is going to be equipped with a whopping 2GB of RAM, ensuring that you’ll have all of the processing power you need when multitasking to your hearts content.

2GB of RAM is going to be combined with a 1.4Ghz Samsung-built Exynos processor, while there is also going to be a 5MP rear camera, an S-Pen and HSPA+ support on board too. One of the most interesting features that stands out for us though, is that the Note 10.1 apparently has functions to allow users to hook up their Android phone as well – with one example being the ability to send and receive text messages direct on the Note 10.1.

There’s some very attractive pictures to be seen over at TheBravePost, but the one disappointing thing to note, is that there’s still no confirmation yet on whether the 3G version of the device will be able to take and receive calls or not. There’s also no indication on what Android version this ships with, but we would like to think that by the time the Note 10.1 releases in the US and Europe – it will be rocking Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

With the Galaxy Note 2, iPhone 5 and a possible ‘Mini iPad’ all on the way potentially before the end of the year, is there space in your home for a 10.1-inch Note tablet from Samsung? Let us know if you are considering this or not.
