Some uncorroborated reports are pointing to Apple jobs seeing a pay increase of up to 25 percent, which are said to be for the retail workers after Apple carried out an internal review of job satisfaction.
It seems that a number of meetings took place with employees over pay, and some of Apple’s staff saw an increase as high as a quarter of their current pay. This action had been taken because Apple found a large number of employees were complaining about pay, and while there’s major economic problems around the world with many industries seeing staff complaining about wages, Apple are certainly not doing too bad with profits compared to other companies.
The bump in wages had not been locked to any region, and this source reports they’ve heard from Apple employees across the United States. We feel that Apple have stepped up to the plate with wages that reflect their position as the one of the biggest retail employers. At the time of writing it seems that Apple Store staff earn around $15 per hour, and anyone working for Apple considered as a “Genius” are paid around $30 per hour.
