If you are really excited about the official unveiling of WWE 13, we now have the first screenshots to show you of the game, giving you a much closer look at the action. There’s also further evidence that the game will feature a big emphasis on the Attitude Era as well.
WWE has released the first screenshots of the game up on their website and it provides an all new look at WWE 13 which you didn’t see in the leaked trailer. CM Punk is the cover star of course, everyone now knows that but new images released also lets you see him dish out further punishment to Chris Jericho.
We told you earlier this week that the box art featured an Attitude Era logo and now the new screenshots give further evidence that this game is looking to relive past glories. Stone Cold can now be seen in his iconic pose on the top of the rope and if you pay attention to the image, you’ll also see a WWF-style logo at the bottom, as well as the famous Raw is War logo in the background.
Undertaker can now be seen in clearer detail wearing his ministry outfit, while his classic match-up with Mankind from 1998 inside Hell in a Cell can also be relived as well, which is great. After missing out on WWE 12, Chris Jericho is once again included in the game and another new image shows he is bringing that shiny LED jacket with him as well.
Some of you have pointed out that the graphics are not too dissimilar to WWE 12, but we think they’re pretty good – just look at the image of Big Show and Mark Henry in the ring after it has collapsed.
It is the Attitude Era elements that are getting everyone pumped up about the game though and rightly so. You have been giving some excellent suggestions here on what Attitude Era wrestlers you would like to see in the game, so keep them coming. Take a look at all of the new images here and let us know your thoughts on the game.
Shaping up to be the best WWE game in recent years we think – do you agree? PS: Would you like the classic Raw is War theme below included in WWE 13 as well?
