The device is now available to buy in some parts of Europe and will then go on sale later on this Summer in the US. The device is Samsung’s new pride and joy after the Galaxy Nexus and it is the first Galaxy phone to feature a quad-core processor – in Europe anyway.
The review comes courtesy of Android Authority and covers most aspects of the device from the handy customizable home screens that are easily switchable, all the way to a little session on S-Voice. One interesting aspect of the device that we get to see a lot of is the rolling sub menus that the top of the device when opening a certain app in the device.
The author of the video points out that the interface is something you would usually see on a custom ROM, and points out that the creator of CyanogenMod, Steve Kondik is currently working at Samsung now as a software developer. Is Samsung now starting to embrace the community by listening to the influx of requests to improve their much maligned TouchWiz interface?
