Quick & Healthy: Easy Recipes for Diabetics 1.0 has only recently been released and is brought to you by Julian Whitaker MD and the Whitaker Wellness Institute of Newport Beach, California. The application has more than 100 delicious recipes that allow users to customize daily menus based on suggested nutritional targets.

There is also a video by Dr. Whitaker as he shares his strategies in helping people with diabetes. Using the application users set up their personal profile, and the app then provides daily nutritional goals and values that are unique to each individual health and diet requirements.

Other features also include a tracking feature that allows users to review their daily meals, and a special history button provides instant feedback on what was done either yesterday or last week. Dr. Whitaker has been working with thousands of diabetes patients over the last 32 years. There is help for patients who have type one and two diabetes.

There is also a built-in timer, recipes can be shared via email and Facebook, ingredient calculator based on number of servings, menu planner, favorites list, and shopping list generation. Quick & Healthy 1.0 is available worldwide on the App Store for only $4.99/£2.99. The application will be offered free on February 25 and 26th. iPad required with iOS 3.2 or later.
