Whether you are a fan of the Android platform or not, one thing that it offers consumers is a variety of handsets at different price levels. For those on a tighter budget or wanting something for a younger family member there are a good choice of handsets that still come with a number of features. Today we have news of a budget HTC Primo that has been spotted, which may come running Android ICS.
The good looking device has seen its details leaked ahead of any release, which as TechRadar are reporting will also come with Beats Audio technology. It is thought the Primo will come with Android Ice Cream Sandwich straight out of the box with the HTC Sense 4.0 UI.
Even though it has been hinted that the device will be a budget model it still has a good looking spec sheet. It will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM, and will feature an impressive 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display.
The camera is pretty impressive as well on a cheaper handset, as it will feature a five megapixel shooter with 720p HD video capability. It is not known if it will come bundled with the same Beats Audio Headphones that come with the HTC Sensation XE.
Images put together of the device seem to show the Primo has done away with the capacitive buttons, which will favor the ICS system that does away with physical buttons. The HTC Primo is expected to debut at next month’s Mobile World Congress along with the HTC Edge and the HTC Ville.
