We hear a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S2 vs. the Apple iPhone, although when you know that Android is the OS you want, or maybe even Windows Phone 7.5, then the iPhone 4S would be out of the question. So let’s take a look at some other options that would be perfect for those not wanting an iPhone.
The Galaxy S2 Skyrocket is certainly a good choice with a nice 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, which packs an impressive 800×480 resolution. There would be almost no problems with horse power thanks to the dual-core Scorpion processor that has a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, add to that 1GB RAM and around 7-hours of battery when talking, then you have a real powerhouse.
You can see detailed specs for the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket on AT&T’s website, which also includes a number of customer reviews. We’ve also embedded a 12-minute video review below this article to give you a visual look at the phone, and help with more insight.
To find out how the Galaxy S2 stacks up against the HTC Rezound (Android’s 2.3 Gingerbread) and Nokia Lumia 800 (Windows Phone 7.5), we’ve tracked down a couple of reviews that look at different features and specs for each device, and compares them at face value.
The second video below this article features a review of the HTC Rezound, and the video runs for just under 20-minutes, giving you a nice insight into this phone from another perspective. We’ve also embedded a third video, which gives you a 15-minute look at the Nokia Lumia 800, and again this is another review with a different take on this phone.
If you had to choose, would you go for the Rezound, Lumia 800 or Galaxy S2?
