Sleep Sounds Recorder 1.0 has recently been released to the App Store by Viaden Mobile, and is available for owners of the iPhone, iPad 2, and iPod Touch 4G. This clever application has three tools built into one app that include alarm clock, recorder, and sound machine. The sound machine allows users to playback and records any sounds they make during their sleep.

After studying the problems that are often associated with sleep deprivation, sounds that are made during sleep can be a cause of a lack of sleep. This can help reveal and improve some specific sleep conditions with the goal of a perfect night’s sleep.

The application cleverly records any sounds as they happen so the recorder is not turned on the whole time. It will only react to sounds that are above its lower sensitivity threshold, so in turn saves battery life. Sounds that are recorded can then be sent by email or posted to social networks to seek professional advice, or to just have a laugh at them.

It will also store sleep data such as time the users goes to bed and wakes up, and also has twenty wake-up and chill out tunes that will make falling asleep and waking up more enjoyable. There is binaural beats that are low frequency pulsations that are thought to have a beneficial effect on mood and emotions.
