Skyrim: Premature release makes majority jealous

Now the dust has settled with the launch of Modern Warfare 3 we are just a couple of days away from another big game release, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. There will be plenty of gamers really looking forward to get their hands on this, and Skyrim premature release makes majority jealous.

An article over at Sticktwiddlers is reporting that they stumbled onto a thread which was titled “I have no idea why it’s already released today, but I’m not complaining”. It also had an image attached that was of a PS3 copy of Skyrim that can be seen via the link.

But instead of being a one off there was another image below of a copy of the game on the Xbox 360. There was a comment posted saying that “it’s sold everywhere in Belgium for those people who are waiting“. It added for those who have to wait for the official release won’t be disappointed.

Other people were commenting that they had also been enjoying the game early with most of them on the PS3, and as early as five days ago. One person said they had lent a copy of the Skyrim on the PS3 and had preordered it for the PC. They claimed to be already at level 10 with a handful of sidequests completed.

This sort thing is not unknown as we have already reported on copies of MW3 being openly sold in a London store before the official release. Meanwhile Gamebandits are reporting that retailers in Holland have already begun selling Skyrim. Will you be getting Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim when it is released?
