We are very surprised that this has been kept a secret, but since there are many good players in the Call of Duty world, one of the biggest hidden features of Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer has now been let out of the bag. Remember the Tactical Nuke 25 killstreak from MW2? – It has now been replaced with the M.O.A.B.
Yeah, the M.O.A.B, or Mother of All Bombs is now the highest killstreak award in Modern Warfare 3, and we can tell you that it is a lot better than the Tactical Nuke, for a number of reasons.

Firstly, we can confirm that using the M.O.A.B will NOT end the game, like the Tactical Nuke did on Modern Warfare 2. The M.O.A.B will however, take out every member of the opposing team, and it will also grant the user an EMP, disabling all enemy equipment and enemy aircraft for one minute whilst in use.
That’s not all either. Your teammates will also benefit from having a pro player on the team as using the M.O.A.B will give every team member double XP for the rest of the game, making the M.O.A.B popular all round! It is brilliant that it doesn’t end the game as that was plain frustrating in Modern Warfare 2, but Infinity Ward rewarding other team members with an XP boost is a fantastic idea.
Have you managed to use an M.O.A.B in game, or seen somebody use it? If you haven’t don’t worry as there are already a few videos popping up online from players who have used one. We have included a one below so you can check it out straight away.
It’s worth pointing out that the M.O.A.B is active for all Strike Packages, as we heard that some of you were saying that it is for the Specialist Strike Package only – this is incorrect. Get 25 kills on Assault or Support too and you’ll be the envy of all your team. Let us know your thoughts on the new M.O.A.B and your experiences of it in-game so far.
