Since it was first revealed there has been a lot of attention on the new RAZR handset from Motorola. Early impressions of the device have found it to be beautifully thin and responsive with many potential customers wanting to get a hold of it. Originally the device was set to be available in the UK by this week, and we can now tell you that the Motorola RAZR release date has been delayed for some regions.
We have already told you that consumers in the US will be getting the device by the 10th of November as preorders for the handset went live. Motorola meanwhile never revealed a release date for the new RAZR in the UK, but online retailers started to list the handset with a November 1st release date.
Now TFTS are reporting that online retailer Clove have said the date for the launch of the device has been put back a week. The date is now reported to be the 7th after getting a last minute delay, and currently there are no reasons given for the later release date.
If there was a problem it can’t be much of one considering it has only resulted in the handset being held back for a few days. It is not unusual for a new handset to get a slight delay in being released, and could just be a logistical issue.
It has to be remembered though that Motorola didn’t announce an official date for the device, and when checking on the official Motorola UK website we found some other interesting information. The official page for the RAZR gives you two links for how to buy, with Clove stating the 7th, and Amazon listing the handset for the 11th.
