Battlefield 3: Exclusive DLC with Dr Pepper is US-only

By Updated on

We have some exciting news for those of you in the US, while at the same time pretty frustrating news for our readers in the UK and Europe. It has been confirmed that EA has teamed up with Dr Pepper to offer US Battlefield 3 gamers some freebies with bottles or cans of the popular soft drink.

Yes you heard it correctly, this promotion will be for US consumers only unfortunately, as EA are offering US gamers the chance to get hold of some exclusive DLC content that won’t be available anywhere else, for the time being anyway, as reported from CVG.

The one pleasing aspect for UK and everyone else outside the US though, is that the DLC content isn’t that amazing. However, free is still free and it is something to collect in the game so you still should try and get it if you enjoy Dr Pepper on occasions.

The items that Dr Pepper and EA will be handing out include a free PlayStation Home Avatar, two Dr Pepper multiplayer skins and five unique dog tags to be added to your collection in-game. You can see a preview of the multiplayer skins below, as well as one example of a dog tag you’ll get – this one is the ’6 moons dog tag’:

Looks pretty cool wouldnt you agree? To have a chance of winning, all you need to do is insert the code that you’ll find on Battlefield 3 Dr Pepper bottles on the official promotion website here. Just so you’re aware, these codes will work on all three platforms of the game.

If you’re interested in trying this out, head to your nearest shop now and start guzzling those bottles of Dr Pepper now – send some codes our way too while you’re at it – we want that Hello Kitty dog tag badly.

Have any of you already redeemed your free DLC? If so, let us know how the process went for you. For those that haven’t tried this yet – what’s the worst that can happen?
