Since Nokia pledged its future to Windows Phone 7 we have been quite excited about what the Finnish company has up its sleeves, well today we have some leaked images of the Nokia 800 to show you, to our knowledge this won’t be comparable to the iPhone 4S and Nexus Prime in terms of tech specs – but still it should offer a good enough smartphone experience for the majority of consumers out there.
It is thought that this device will get an official launch next week, for now we don’t have official technical specs, but we have some leaked images for you to feast your eyes on, these clearly show a large touchscreen display (3.7-inch diagonal is rumored) and three different color options: black, blue and pink.
All of the images below were found over at PocketNow, as you are probably aware this smartphone was formerly codenamed Sea Ray,we are led to beleive that it is powered by a single core processor 1GHz – 1.4GHz, now initially you may think that this is not up to scratch, but you have to remember that different operating systems run well on different hardware and if a single-core processor is enough for WP7 it means we can expect pretty decent battery life.
Previously when Nokia first introduced us to the Nokia Sea Ray we were told that it would feature an 8 megapixel camera which features Carl Zeiss optics and we heard how its display would be protected by Gorilla Glass, we can’t wait too see what else has been sandwiched inside the thin casing.
The Nokia World 2011 conference kicks of in four days time (October 26 -27), so we won’t have to wait long to find out all about the Nokia 800 – as and when we hear more we will keep you posted.
Do you think the Nokia 800 will be a success?
