Confusion: Nexus Prime tablet dock compatibility

By Updated on

By now you would have seen the secretive image of what we believe to be the Nexus Prime appear, which should be making a showing in just a few short days. We do not know for certain what the next Google Phone will be called, but we do know that it will come with a curved design. However, going by the teaser video, is there more to this device than meets the eye?

We knew that it was going to feature a curved design, but never as much as that. There is a fear that it could be too much, try having that in a pair of tight pants and not fearing that the device will break? Anyway, let’s get back to a great little theory that a reader of Phandroid had, as he believes that it could have tablet dock compatibility.

Now you can see what we meant about confusion, as it might not be an ordinary phone, it could very well connect to a tablet dock, much like the Atrix does. There are a number of factors that lead up to this assumption, and the first is what message is displayed in the video that we have for you here. It says two things really, “something BIG is coming” and also “Another perfect combination.”

Now these could mean one of three things, either it is a big deal due to the fact that it will have a 1.5GHz processor; it could be a perfect combination because Google and Samsung are coming together with the first Android handset to run Ice Cream Sandwich, or it could be the most powerful handset to connect with a tablet.

This is plausible, but the only issue we have is the fact that there is no curved tablet that will merge with the Prime. We have learned in the past that we should not speculate, as we could very well get it wrong.
