There is no argument that the iPhone 4 is the best selling smartphone in the world, and the problem that Apple had was trying to improve on something that is described as extraordinary. Well, depending who you ask, they have done just that. Okay, so let’s get the small issue out of the way first, the design. Apple has decided to stick with the same design with the iPhone 4S, but is that really a bad thing?
When you watch the iPhone 4S Apple video, you start to get a sense of just what an amazing device this truly is, watch the feature review and you will see just what we mean. The specs have been improved, but it just puts them on par with a handful of Android handsets already on the market. However, there are a few features where Apple has made their new smartphone standout, and one of them is Siri.
Owners of the current iPhone will know just how bad the voice control feature is, but Apple has gone away and come up with something that is – well truly mind boggling. This is a whole new way when it comes to interacting with your iPhone, the voice control system will not only listen to you, but also understands you – we just hope that real world tests works as well as what we see in the video. We will be going into more detail about this feature in another article.
The biggest advancement with the iPhone 4S is its performance, as it uses the same A5 processor as the iPad 2. Apps and graphics are greatly improved, so those who use their handset for gaming will see the difference right away. Another big feature that is shown off in the video is the dual antennas, which you can read more about here.
Reading about the advancements made to the camera in the iPhone 4S is great, but nothing can beat watching a demonstration video of how the technology works. One has to wonder how Apple can pack so much technology into a small package? A final note, we can see Adele having a sales increase in albums, as her song ‘Rolling In The Deep’ is played in the first half of the video. For those of you who missed the iPHone 4S event, then Apple has posted a video of the live stream event.
