Curved Nexus Prime design shows Apple how it’s done

By Updated on

A few days ago we showed you an image of what looked to be the first shot of the Google Nexus Prime in the wild, but now we have something even better for you, a teaser video from Samsung themselves has given a great insight into the curved design of the device that is set to make the headlines at Mobile Unpacked.

Google and Samsung’s event is just days away now, and comes straight after Apple’s Let’s Talk iPhone event in which the company unveiled the new iPhone 4S smartphone to the world. Samsung has just released a video teaser within the last 24 hours, and at the end of the video, it’s fair to say that there is a very big surprise at the end – one which Nexus Prime followers will be foolish to miss.

A curved design similar to the Nexus S has been rumored for Google’s first Ice Cream Sandwich device for months, but based on the image you can see below, it looks like Samsung has taken ‘curved’ to a whole new level – and we like what we see.

It’s great when a new piece of hardware gives you that ‘wow’ factor based on appearance and we don’t mind admitting that this didn’t happen at Apple’s event since the iPhone 4S will take the exact same appearance as the iPhone 4. Siri on the other hand looks amazing, but we’ll get into more detail on that another time.

Do you like this curved design for the Nexus Prime that you are seeing here, or do you think it is a little on the ‘extreme’ side? We have a feeling that you’re going to love it though, and we can’t wait to see it up close and personal on October 11th. Let us know what you think of Samsung’s naughty little teaser.
