The build up to every Apple event is great fun in itself, although this year we all had high hopes for a live video stream broadcasting Apple’s new iPhone event, which would let all the Apple fans find out the details faster than ever before, sadly this is not to be.
We do have the next best thing and that is a bigger range of live blogs covering the October 4, 2011 event than any year before. Also this year we’ve seen some of the biggest blogs streaming video live outside Cupertino, California. At the time of writing we’ve got 2 hours and 19 minutes to go before the Apple keynote, and Engadget has been broadcasting live video from Apple’s headquarters, you should be able to see the live stream below this article or on Engadget’s page here.
The editors of Engadget are discussing their expectations for today, which includes looking at everything from 4G LTE, iOS 5, iCloud and how past events have unfolded. There will be a second broadcast in a little while if this one has finished, which will include some pre show fun and also hands-on’s with any new products at the “Let’s Talk iPhone” event. Check out the video below.
Update: Please be aware that during Apple’s keynote there will be no live video allowed, other than the press at a London Apple Store.
