If you live in the US, you’ll probably know that FIFA 12 ‘soccer’ is already out to buy today, but for everyone else – the big day is approaching and we have news on how you can pick up this year’s premier ‘football’ game at midnight this coming Friday.
As usual, both GAME and GameStation will be holding midnight launches for FIFA 12, and this time there’s a real incentive for you to head out early and try and get first in line to pick up the game.
GAME has confirmed that the first person in the queue at the GAME store at Oxford Street London will not only pick up the game first, but he or she will be the lucky owner of a brand new 3D LG LED television as well – not bad at all eh? Don’t worry if you’re not first in line, as GAME states that there will be other opportunities to pick up more TV’s throughout the midnight launch as well, according to CVG – looting doesn’t appear to be involved either.
There will be 400 GAME and GameStation stores opening up across the UK for a midnight launch, so we doubt there will be any stock shortages for those planning on staying up through the night – have you ever done it? As for the game, FIFA 12 is shaping up nicely to be the best FIFA game to date, and the reviews justify that too, with one 9/10 score sticking out from notorious stingemeisters Eurogamer.
The game will surely be a day-one buy for those who downloaded and enjoyed the recent FIFA 12 demo, and we’re really looking forward to seeing how EA support the game after release, with regards to DLC and transfer updates that happen in the real game.
Are you going to be queuing up to buy FIFA 12 at midnight or are you just going to get it for a discounted price at a supermarket, like ASDA?
