We hope you are all enjoying the FIFA 12 demo that was released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC recently. We now have a brand new gameplay video to show you which takes a look at how transfer updates are handled in the game in Career Mode.
As most of you are well aware, transfer deadline day is one of the most exciting periods of being a football fan and it has been a long request for FIFA fans that EA try to recreate some of that magic in game – and that’s exactly what they have done with FIFA 12.

We touched very briefly on how transfers would work in Career Mode on our previous report here which also contains an interview with game producer David Rutter, but now this new video showcased by Creative Director Simon Humber gives players a much more detailed insight into the transfers system on FIFA 12.
The video confirms that players will get eight hours of trading time on transfer deadline day, and that fees are much more realistic now with real-life action, than transfer fees were in FIFA 11. Players will also get a large countdown clock at the top of the transfers interface, as EA basically try to match what most of us tune in to see on Sky Sports News or something similar.
It would be fantastic if the FIFA 12 transfer deadline day somehow synced in with real-life events, but I think this remains a challenge that EA are looking to improve on in future titles, or even patch updates for FIFA 12 if we’re lucky. It looks like players will have to hold on to the standard FIFA 12 transfer patch updates that come out after the real-life updates in order to see players with their new clubs and updated stats.
What are your thoughts on the new transfer system that has been built in Career mode, as it looks very impressive in our opinion. Take two minutes out from the demo to check out the video below.
