FIFA 12 fans must be struggling to contain their anticipation and excitement as they will be itching to get their hands on the game, which will release at end of September. We have been providing our readers with all the juicy details revealed about it so far, including what the demo will entail and today we have provided a trailer of the sick new skill moves that will feature in EA Sports’ title.
The new trailer is introduced by FIFA 12 animator, Kantcho Doskov, who also demonstrates the new skill moves while explaining which situations and scenarios each is best suited for. The FIFA 12 footballer that features in the video, demonstrating the skills during gameplay, is the very technically gifted Manchester United and Portuguese International player, Luis Nani.
As one of the Premiership’s most skillful and quick-footed stars, Nani will be likely to possess high ball control and dribbling ratings in FIFA 12 meaning he will be able to perform most , if not all the skill moves available on the game. Most FIFA gamers will know those players which do not have a high rating will not be able to do some of the tricks, which is realistic.
The trailer introduces four new tricks. First up we have the Elastico Chop, which is a combination of the elastico skill, made famous by Ronaldinho and the heel chop, which Cristiano Ronaldo uses quite often. Doskov explains that this move is ideal when running down the wing in a one-on-one situation. The second new move is the Scoop Turn, which allows players in tight circumstances to scoop the ball out of their feet and turn into some space. This is a move which featured in other FIFA titles but has been upgraded to allow for more exits, making it more effective.
The third and fourth skill moves are juggling tricks which may be a little impractical during gameplay, but are fun to do when messing around in the arena. They are the Double Around the World and the Reverse Toe Bounce. Check out the video below and see the moves for yourself.
Are you looking forward to trying out the new skill moves in FIFA 12?
