FIFA 12: Release looms closer with trophy / achievement list for Xbox 360, PS3

By Updated on

We recently informed you about a brand new video teaser for FIFA 12 which focused on the form and morale of a player during the main career mode of the upcoming football game, but now we have a list of achievements for those who are looking to collect every possible reward up for grabs.

As expected, there are plenty of trophies and achievements up for grabs for perfoming certain criteria in the game and courtesy of the FIFA Soccer Blog, we have a full list of awards to show you, ranging from Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and even a few unnamed hidden trophies for you to find out for yourself too.

Highlights for us include the ‘Ruud Boy’ trophy after scoring a goal on the volley, the ‘Megged’ trophy which is self explanatory and also the ‘Riding Bikes’ award which requires players to successfully execute a bicycle kick whilst in game – a task which shouldn’t be too difficult for the hardcore FIFA players. Performing those three tasks will win you one bronze trophy and two silver trophies for your efforts.

Aside from the bronze and silver and gold trophies, there is also one platinum trophy to collect. This one is called the ‘Football Legend’ trophy and it requires players to collect all the main trophies in the game first, and this probably includes the three hidden trophies we mentioned earlier so it’s going to be a very difficult task to achieve for sure.

We have a question for you FIFA fans: How many of you actually play the game intending to unlock the trophies one by one, or do you just play through career mode and unlock them unintentionally? All these trophies combined with the multitude of new features for the game make FIFA 12 a must have game when it releases at the end of the month.

I am the ultimate. I am the single best player of Fifa in the world, I destroyed Fifa 11 and I will destroy Fifa 12. My style is impregnable, I will score and score and score against whoever I play, I will never concede. If I am Accrington Stanley and I play Real Madrid, I win, if I am Barnsley FC and I play Arsenal, I win. I cannot be beaten, I have taken Swindon Town to Champions League glory, I have scored a hat trick with Nicklas Bendtner, I have knocked out Barcelona in the Champions League with none other than Liverpool FC, the worst football team in the world. Whether on manual or assisted, I dominate, I can score from anywhere, I have scored from everywhere. Simply put, I am magnificent. I have played 10,000 games, scored 45,000 goals, conceded 0, and never had less than 88% possession, bring on Fifa 12 and I will tear it apart, I will complete every accomplishment, win every trophy, beat every team, score with every player, go unbeaten in my 15 year spell as manager of the greatest club in the world- Chelsea FC, what’s more, I’ll bring Fernando Torres, ‘El Nino’ to the golden boot each season. I will silence Manchester, both City and United, I will break the dominance of Real and Barca in spain, I will make Ligue 1 exciting, I will make Howard Webb officiate a match fairly (albeit with difficulty), I will make Sergio Busquets stand up and dust himself off after being fouled and not roll around on the floor like he’s been shot, I will make Berbatov sprint, I will score a penalty with John Terry, I will buy back Fabregas from Barcelona with Arsenal, I will bring Messi to Stamford Bridge, I will go a Premier League season without conceding a goal, I will make Neymar dos Santos pass to a teammate and I will prevent Joey Barton from ever recieving a red card again, (I will try my best to do the same with Lee Cattermole but I’m not promising anything). Furthermore I will play every game with the passion and love of a true football fan to whom football is more than a game, more than a ‘way of life’, more than a religion, to whom it is a source of air, of water, the force I need to stay breathing, stay living, I will sweat and bleed football, for I am, the Ultimate.
Saying that I’ll probably get bored of it after a few months and will discard it waiting for Fifa 13, which no doubt will ‘correct’ the intentional errors, glitches and mistakes present in Fifa 12 promising a ‘newer, refreshed and evolved football game’ for the world. Ah well, I’m a sheep.
