When Google launched their best attempt at social networking with Google+, getting an invite was not so easy. The amount of people using the service was very limited and as it’s in beta the chances of you knowing people using G+ was unlikely. Now that over 20 million people use the social network, we’re sure you have friends or family able to give you an invite, if not then you click here to use one of the 148 invites I have let.
Within the last couple of days Google also added games to their service, which is pretty cool considering they’re free, although in beta. Playing a game and then sharing your high score with others can become addictive as Facebook users know, and this was one of the features needed to start encouraging Facebook friends and family to jump ship.
While some people won’t let their children use Facebook or are waiting to they’re of age, normally 13-years old, Google+ could be seen as a better option for teenagers but thanks to tighter restrictions you have to be much older to use the service. At the time of writing we believe you need to be 18 years old to use Google+, although this may only be during the beta stages.
If you’re on Google+, have you used all your invites up today? What do you think of the new games that have been added to G+? Now there is more reasons for people to join Plus, and if it’s still not enough, what do you think Facebook users still need to move over? As mentioned above, if you need an invite then click here.
