Yesterday our Motorola Bionic infographic post was very popular with our readers, therefore we thought that we would post a similar article regarding another of today’s most highly anticipated upcoming smartphones, iPhone 5, whilst browsing TheInfographicsBlog we spotted this image which tells us a lot about what to expect from Apple’s next-gen iPhone. As you can see some of the ideas are great, that said some are borderline rediculous, therefore we thought we would dissect it for you.
This article will be full of ideas for Apple’s iPhone 5, some of which contradict each-other, there are some gems and almost certainties which we have spotted. Let’s start with the image below:

As you can see each idea is accompanied by a likeliness rating, whoever put the infographics together seems to believe that it is certain that the iPhone 5 will feature the Apple A5 dual-core processor (same as iPad 2), not only this but he thinks that there will be a white variant and a CDMA model. It also looks like iOS 5 will accompany the launch and finally internal hardware will include NFC technology.
The image above shows five more things which the iPhone 5 may feature. Firstly our source thinks that it is likely that the iPhone 5 will feature the same physical design as the iPhone 4 just with a couple of small refinements, also he also feels that a HDMI output is likely (we doubt this). We agree with ideas such enhanced voice controls and more RAM as this is what we have seen in more recent Android devices, however that said we are unsure as to whether the iPhone 5 will be a cloud-based device.
If you check out the image above you will see that ideas start to contradict one-another, as you can see the source can’t make his mind up as to whether the iPhone 5 will offer a 64GB model, or instead feature minimal internal storage in favor of cloud storage. Also he ponders if the new iPhone 5 will have a completely new design. Two things which we would like to see are 4G / LTE support which we are told has a 50% likelihood, whilst full HD video capture is rated at 30% likely, what do you make of this?
To be honest with you the rest of the ideas are a bit lack luster. Therefore we will just give you a run though of them in this paragraph. The only other idea which was given a 30% rating (other than full HD video capture) was a low cost iPhone arriving, as for 20% ratings the source thinks that better battery life and R-UIM MicroCard compatibility fall into this bracket. The idea of the next-gen iPhone featuring a 3D display was given a 10% rating, whilst the idea of an iPhone arriving with a physical keyboard or a two-SIM tray were both pretty much written off.
What do you make of the ideas gathered from the iPhone 5 infographics – do you agree with the likelihood ratings?
