If you own a Nintendo DS or 3DS portable gaming console and you are a fan of the hugely popular ‘Cooking Mama’ series of video games, which has been released for a number of platforms including Nintendo DS, Wii and even iOS, then we have some news that could well be of interest to you.

According to a recent article by Hangie over on the esperino.com website, publish 505 Games has just announced 2 new ‘Cooking Mama’ titles for the Nintendo DS and 3DS. Although we haven’t got a specific release date at this stage, we do know that both games should arrive this coming winter.

The first of the two upcoming games is ‘Cooking Mama World: Outdoor Adventures’ for the Nintendo DS. The game sees players joining both Mama and her family as they explore Adventure Island by playing hundreds of different outdoor mini-games set out over 38 stages.

The ‘Cooking Mama World: Outdoor Adventures’ game provides players with five different areas to explore, each containing a variety of mini-game challenges including grilling fish and clams on the barbeque, cutting and peeling fruit, cutting down trees, catching fish and even building a bonfire.

There will also be plenty of treasure and secrets for players to uncover throughout the game. Players will also be able to decorate their base camp with the treasure that they uncover. Meanwhile, the ‘Cooking Mama 4’ game – which is heading to the Nintendo 3DS – sees Mama doing what she does best.

In other words, the ‘Cooking Mama 4’ game will see Mama turning budding chefs into culinary artists, only this time it will be in 3D. The game will have hundreds of new dishes for players to master, as well as the ability to combine them together for brand new culinary creations.

Certain combinations will even unlock new mini-games and recipes. The ‘Cooking Mama 4’ game also comes with a Challenge Mode, which enables up to four players to compete against each other to chase high scores and beat existing records. The publisher has also revealed a few screenshots for the game, which can be viewed over on the esperino.com website.

Do you own a Nintendo DS or 3DS gaming console? If you do, will you be buying either of the upcoming ‘Cooking Mama’ games?
