Batman: Arkham City Riddler trailer, hidden code within

By Updated on

Batman: Arkham City has got to be one of the most anticipated titles that are to be released this year. Its predecessor, Batman: Arkham Asylum opened up a whole new dimension to action adventure games adding the need for stealth, strategy and tactics in order to complete an objective. It also became Game of the Year in 2009, most probably for these reasons. The new game promises to be equally as impressive as we can tell from the details, artwork and trailers we have seen so from Rocksteady Studios so far.

Since the first details of the game began emerging, we at Product Reviews have been doing our best to keep you updated with what you can expect from the upcoming sequel. Recently we brought you confirmation over what image would be used for the box art. It turns out there will be some amazing artwork that will feature on the box of the game, different to any of the screenshots or concept art we’ve seen so far.

We also recently brought you news of an epic trailer that treated those who were eager to know more about Batman: Arkham City to 12 minutes of mouth-watering gameplay. In the video you get to see Catwoman in action as she beats a group of thugs to a pulp, as well as Batman gliding into action as he takes on a whole bunch of henchmen.

Those of you that enjoy trailers will be delighted with today’s news as it seems another has been released, this time we get to experience the crazy mind of the Riddler. This trailer is unlike any other as all is not as it seems with this clip. According to RandomProdInc hidden within the video is a hidden message, something you would expect where Riddler’s involved.

Their news came from the game’s official Twitter page, where it was announced that the trailer contains a riddle hidden throughout and if solved some exclusive Riddler concept art would be released this Friday. During the trailer, which is about one and half minutes long, there are brief glimpses of the man in the green suit himself. You also see various rooms that have been booby-trapped with torturing implements, a bit like the rooms you’d expect to see in the Saw films. You can check out the trailer for yourself below. Were you able to work out the riddle? What do you think of the trailer and the other details that have been released about the game so far?
