There are a great diverse selection of applications on the App Store covering all sorts of subjects and uses. Today we are looking at some really good iOS music apps which will keep you entertained and informed.
First we have an application which has been receiving rave reviews from users called Music Theory for Beginners 1.1. This clever iPad application offers the ultimate resource for users who want to get to grips with music theory. If you love your rock music this is the app for you. It is a diverse songbook which covers four great decades from some of the biggest artists of rock music.
Contained in the app users will find classic rock anthems from the likes of Bon Jovi, Police, Rainbow, Eric Clapton, The Killers, and much more. In total there are fifty great tracks which will suit all tastes of rock music. Each of the songs has the full lyrics and chords, and also features an enhanced chord library.
Many also have full backing tracks to get you that full band experience. Large chord diagrams will show you just how the artists played each chord. Rock Hits: Little Black Songbook is available on the App Store for only $5.99/£2.99.
A fun application for music lovers is PopPhrase 1.0 for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The application has been in the top 3 on the iPad iTunes chart in Australia, UK and US. Users can see if they can name a tune in less than 45 seconds in the ultimate quiz for pop lovers. The quicker you guess correctly the more points you are rewarded.
