Upgraders consider refurbished iPhone 4 or 5-G release

We have already discussed how iPhone 3GS owners did not bother with the iPhone 4, as they were either in contract, could not afford it or did not think that it was worthy enough. Now with just months to go until the release of the iPhone 5, 4G, 4S or whatever it will be called, how will owners play it this time? One thing we do know, if they want to upgrade now but still do not believe that they can afford it, then maybe upgraders should consider a refurbished iPhone 4 instead?

The latest iPhone was already meant to be on the market by now, but for reasons unknown this has not happened. This has left 3GS owners with yet a bigger dilemma, as they are now at the end of their 2-year contracts. However, surely three more months is not that long to wait? Although we know that it is in this day and age.

Now if you are now in the market for an iPhone 4, then maybe you should consider going for a refurbished model. Why on earth would someone want to buy a new handset that is using year-old technology? This is really the only way that you are likely to get a cheap iPhone 4; usually when a phone is this old it goes down in price, but not when they are still as popular as the iPhone 4.

When large retailers have fourth-generation handsets sent back due to a fault, they then get fixed and then sold on as a refurbished unit. There is nothing wrong with these and are in fully working order. Apple had once offered this service, but seems to have now stopped it.

Refurbished phones typically come from big retailers, stocking unwanted or slightly faulty handsets that have been repaired, but remain in a used condition.

Now for some reason AT&T have also stopped their refurbished iPhones as well; this is certainly strange, as we have no idea why this is. We already know that demand is still high for these devices, maybe they get sent back, stripped down and used once again in new devices? Please do not hold us to that, we are just taking a wild guess.

So we know that a refurbished iPhone is the answer for those who are not prepared to wait for the iPhone 4, but good luck hunting them down.
