A few days ago we provided our readers with a list of trophies that are available for the PlayStation 3 version of the much-anticipated F.E.A.R. 3 game, along with information on how to unlock them. If you have played the previous titles in the horror / first-person shooter series, then you may not need any help playing the F.E.A.R. 3 game. However, some might still appreciate a little help here and there.
We have some good news now for those of you that are looking to get a little help with the F.E.A.R. 3 game, as according to a recent article over at gamer4eva.com, the publisher – Warner Bros. Interactive – has decided to share 15 handy tips and tricks for their recently released game. For example, players can maximize their score by playing the game on higher difficulties or fulfilling multiple challenge requirements.
They can also maximize their score by completing each level as fast as they possibly can. Exploration is a crucial part of the F.E.A.R. 3 game, and players should search each level extensively in order to find hidden ammo caches, the Alma Doll and psychic link bodies. Both the psychic links and the all-important Alma Dolls appear in random locations, so it is important that players fully explore on every playthrough.
Psychic links can either be shared or stolen when playing co-op mode. If players are looking to set a team high score, they should share their psychic links. If they want to set an individual high score however, they should steal them instead. If you are looking to unlock the ‘We’ll Try Again Tomorrow’ trophy / achievement, then you might like to know that it is easiest to get in the first 3 waves of The Commute multiplayer map.
Another handy little tip is to plan ahead when playing the ‘Contractions’ multiplayer mode. Storing all your ammo on the top level of your safe house may take longer, but it does pay off in the later waves. One of the toughest enemies in the F.E.A.R. 3 game is The Phase Caster, so players should make sure they kill him as soon as they can. The Phase Caster enemy will continue calling in reinforcements as you take them out.
Ranking up in the F.E.A.R. 3 game improves various stats including health, slow-mo and ammo capacity. Maximizing your rank is important when it comes to playing on the Insane difficulty. Another tip worth mentioning is not to try and stay in one body while playing the ‘Soul King’ multiplayer mode. If a player is about to die, they should possess a body with full health.
