So you’ve just gone out and got yourself a nice new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet, and the next thing you are thinking of buying is accessories right? Well, whether you are thinking about buying a protective case, a charger or even a Bluetooth keyboard, it looks like Samsung has you covered with its recently unveiled ‘premium accessory suite.’
As noted by Jesse Hicks over on engadget.com, the company’s new ‘premium accessory suite’ features a number of different docking solutions, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Multi-Media Dock. The Multi-Media Dock provides users with desktop docking in landscape view, enabling them to charge their new tablet while listening to music, viewing their favorite photos or even checking emails.
The device also comes with a HDMI pass through, which enables users to connect their docked tablet to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 HDMI adapter (which is sold separately) so they can seamlessly transfer multimedia content to their home entertainment center. Another great docking solution is the full size Keyboard Dock, which comes with Android Hotkeys that provide one-touch access to email etc.
If you’re thinking about buying a protective case for your nice new investment, then you’ll be pleased to know that there are two options available now and another that will be available later this summer. First up is the Book Cover Case that not only protects all corners and all sides of your new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, but also converts into an easel stand with non-slip feet on its edges.
The option that is available now is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Leather Pouch, which provides users with the perfect mix of convenience and portability. Those of you that enjoy watching TV and movie content may want to consider buying Samsung’s new HDMI Cable Adapter. Not only will the HDMI Cable Adapter enable you to play back Media Hub content on your television, but it will also charge your Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Other accessories that are available now and in the future include the Galaxy Tab Conductive Stylus, which simulates a finger touch, swipe or tap to protect the touch screen from messy fingerprints or smudging, the USB 2A Travel Charger and USB 2A Car Charger, a full size wireless Bluetooth keyboard and the Samsung SD Card Adapter and USB connection kit.
