We have some rather interesting news now for those of you that might be thinking about buying a new digital camera or camcorder, as we’ve just heard that Panasonic has recently unveiled price details for both its camcorder range and the new LUMIX FH7 digital camera.
According to Chris Davies over at slashgear.com, the 16.1-megapixel LUMIX FH7 camera – which features a 3-inch Smart Touch Screen, high-definition video recording, a 4x optical zoom and Beauty Retouch – has been priced up at $179.99, and will be available as from the beginning of July.
Meanwhile, the cheapest camcorder in Panasonic’s new range is the HM-TA2, which is priced up at $169.99. The HM-TA2 includes a 3-inch touch screen, an integrated USB plug, a Night View mode and a webcam mode. Next in line is the HMT-TA20, which has a suggested retail price of $199.99.
The HM-TA20 has the same features to the HM-TA2 model, but adds on drop resilience, dust protection and 10ft waterproofing. The HX-DC1 – which also has the ability to shoot 14-megapixel stills – will also set you back $199.99. Next in the range is the $279.99 HX-DC10.
This model has the ability to take 16-megapixel still photos, and comes with Panasonic’s Backside Illumination technology. Last but not least is the waterproof HX-WA10 camcorder, which is priced up at $349.99 and features an easy-to-hold vertical design and a 5x optical zoom.
