Harman Kardon 3D compatible receivers announced, enhanced home cinema

Here is some more news for those that take their home cinema system seriously, as we previously brought you news of the new range of receiving units from Pioneer. Now we are able to bring you news of a recently announced line from Harman Kardon.

Today the company announced their line of video/audio receivers which feature the latest 3D components. The lineup includes the AVR 3650, AVR 2650, AVR 1650 and the AVR 1565. All will feature Harman Kardon’s Logic 7 technology that they use for surround sound processing.

All receivers include the company’s brushed silver and sleek black design. At entry level come the AVR 1565 and AVR 1650 units each with DTS-HD Mater Audio, Dolby True HD and 5.1 channel surround sound. You get 95W per channel with the 1650 and 75 with the 1565.

The two higher lever receivers, the AVR 3650 and AVR 2650 feature network connectivity for streaming radio or music and 7.1 channel surround sound. The 3650 is given six HDMI inputs with 110W per channel while the 2650 gets five HDMI inputs with 90W per channel.
