Mass Effect 3: Amazon reveals Collector’s Edition

We have some interesting news now for those of you that are thinking about buying the much-anticipated Mass Effect 3 game, as we’ve just received word that Amazon has recently revealed a Collector’s Edition of BioWare’s upcoming action role-playing game.

According to a recent article by Valay over at gamingeverything.com, the package is said to come with a number of goodies including an art book and a comic. If the Amazon listing is to be believed, the Collector’s Edition will cost $79.99 and will be released on March 6th, 2012.

The Collector’s Edition reportedly includes a limited edition Mass Effect comic complete with unique cover art, a premium metal case that features commemorative artwork of Commander Shepard and a collection on in-game content that you won’t find anywhere else.

It is also believed to contain a 70-page hardbound art book that features hundreds of unique illustrations from the development team, as well as an exclusive 4 x 6 lithographic print and the premium fabric N7 patch. Since writing this, the amazon.com listing seems to have been removed.
