We have some rather exciting news now for those of you that are thinking about buying the Rocksmith game when it arrives in stores later this year, as we’ve recently received word that Ubisoft has just revealed the partial song list for the upcoming music video game.
For those of you that haven’t heard of Rocksmith, it’s the first and only video game that enables players to plug in and play with any real guitar. As Teddy Pierson at news.teamxbox.com notes, the Rocksmith game features a profound library of music, from classic rock songs to the latest hits.
The new tracks that have recently been revealed include Breed by Nirvana, Next Girl by The Black Keys, Well OK Honey by Jenny O, Number Thirteen by Red Fang, When I’m With You by Best Coast, High and Dry by Radiohead, Song 2 by Blur and Step Out of the Car by The Boxer Rebellion.
If none of those tracks interest you, then you might be pleased to know that the game also includes The Cure’s Boys Don’t Cry, Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rolling Stones’ The Spider and the Fly, Icky Thump by The White Stripes and Chimney by the Yellow Moon Band.
The Rocksmith game features gameplay that automatically adjusts to your skill level, making it ideal for both experienced musicians and those of you that have never played guitar before. Rocksmith – which has been priced up at $79.99 – is due to arrive sometime in the fall.
