With just five months until Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim arrives on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 we are sure that some of you can’t wait to find out what Bethesda has done to make this game different to previous installments, well thanks to GT409 over at the BethSoft forums we have lots of juicy details for you.

In our article we will mention some of the most exciting new features etc, however for a full breakdown of details check out this link. All of this information was sourced from the official PlayStation Magazine.

In terms of the game’s campaign it sounds massive, apparently there are 60,000 lines of recorded dialog and more voice actors than before, also when playing Skyrim quests should feel less fake and Bethesda has been inspired by Fallout 3′s random encounters in addition to this we are told that each city has its own economy which you can sabotage.

Skyrim will allow you to dual-weild either a weapon and shield, weapon and torch, weapon and weapon, spell and weapon or spell and spell, if none of these take your fancy you could always just use a two-handed weapon.

If you have not heard anything about Dragon Shouts you should check out this article, new Dragon Shouts include “Iiz Slen” – Ice crystals, “Strun Bah Qo” – Lightning Storm and “Yol Toor”- Fire breath, there is also talk of Slow Time and Whirlwhind Spirit shouts, however the Draconic language for these shouts is currently unknown.

A big part of all Elder Scrolls games is travelling, we can confirm that in Skyrim you will be able to fast travel, also horses will be much more detailed than Oblivion and will “actually handle like horses”.

We will now real off some other details which may be interesting to you: Firstly dragons will now randomly appear and battles are unscripted, also if a dragon is injured enough it can’t fly. When it comes to crafting there are 13 types of ore. Guards don’t end up as powerful as they could in Oblivion. The hand to hand skill has been removed. And finally there are three factions confirmed so far, these are Thieves’ Guild, College of Winterhold and Companions.

Hopefully more will be revealed at E3 2011 next week, do you like the sounds of these new details?
