Metal Gear Solid 3D – photo before E3 2011 reveal & details

By Updated on

Recently we told you that Metal Gear Solid’s creator, Hideo Kojima, would not be attending E3 2011, many were worried that this could mean that Metal Gear Solid 3D for the Nintendo 3DS would not show up, however it looks like this is not the case.

A recent tweet form Hideo featured an image showing what appears to be a 3DS playing MGS 3D, Andriasang translated the tweet and it revealed that at E3 2010 the game featured touch controls which allows you to cross a suspension bridge, however this time round there is gyro controls,

As EuroGamer point out the graphics this time around look much more impressive than what we got to see last year, the lighting and rich colors grabbed our attention straight away (you can see the image we are talking about by scrolling down to the end of this post).

The image also shows that the touchscreen display features the game’s HUD, this allows the 3DS’ main screen to stay clutter free as the map, your ammo and health is shown on the secondary display. EuroGamer also suggest that the touchscreen display will allow you to choose weaponry and attach silencers etc.

We are impressed by the image embedded below, are you? Hopefully we will get to see some hands-on video next week at E3!
