Last month we were doing our best to provide coverage of the Google I/O conference, bringing you as much news as we could. The conference saw the launch of the hotly anticipated Google Chromebooks which both Acer and Samsung were to release.
The announcement pointed towards a June 15th release date however today we are able to reveal that you are able to get our hands on one of the Samsung versions now courtesy of Gilt. Gilt is an exclusive website that invites users to flash sales.
The early sales means those who were hoping to get their hands on a Chromebook are now able to two weeks earlier than expected. According to the Cnet the site was only able to get a handful of the machines and it is not clear just how many they have.
If you are interested in getting one before everyone else the site has the 3G models for $500. An exclusive limited edition Chrome-sleeve will also be thrown in with the purchase. You can buy one by signing up to Gilt; the offer is also only available for a limited time.
Check out the link above to see if you can still grab one. Are you interested in getting a Chromebook?
