As new notebooks and laptops get released it seems e thinner the design the more popular a device it is. The MacBook Air is one of the most popular computers in the market and is extremely thin. Today we have news of another very thin netbook which could come with a competitive price tag, just $600.
The Intel Canoe Lake reference design was first spotted at Computex 2010, yet is still hasn’t managed to get a release. The netbook has appeared again at this year’s Computex and the design is equally as impressive second time round.
It also looks like this time around the device will actually be built and released to customers. A company called Malata will be the ones to sell to sell the design, though a date of when it will happen has not been mentioned.
The netbook comes with 1GB or 2GB RAM, has a Cedar View processor and a 10.1” screen. Other features such as microphone out and headphone port, SD card slot and USB 2.0 are also included. The 15-18mm thick machine will also run Windows 7.
Check out JKKMobile where you can see a video of the computer in action. Are you impressed with the tiny device?
