As you may or may not be aware Computex 2011 is underway in Taiwan at the moment and various devices from different manufacturers are being showcased. We have been doing our best to provide coverage of the event as it happens.

Today we have news of the HP TouchPad, which was spotted at the event in the SanDisk booth. It is thought that the company is in partnership with HP and will be providing the storage hardware for the tablet. We previously brought you news of a claim by HP that their TouchPad will be the market leader.

Of course in order to claim that title it has to out sell its rivals one of which is the mighty Apple with their iPad 2. So has it got what it takes? Judging from the video which is provided in the article at GadgetsMagazine it’s certainly an impressive piece of kit.

It is polished looking and has easily accessed apps which rotate like a wheel. Another interesting feature is the response time of the tablets. Touch the app you want and it appears full screen instantly, turn your device from portrait to landscape and it reacts straight away.

Check out the video for yourself by clicking the link above. Will you be getting the TouchPad?
