Nokia E6 price and preorders begin in UK

By Gary Johnson - May 27, 2011

We have known about the Nokia E6 for a while now and in March we had some pictures and a video of the device. Today we can tell you about the Nokia E6 price, and preorders begin in the UK.

Mikey Bee of NokNok is reporting the handset has gone live on the Nokia online store for preordering for £349 SIM free. It will also be available on contract from £25 per month and available at the end of next month. The handset will have Symbian Anna OS and a full QWERTY keyboard.

It has the first full VGA 2.46-inch screen available on a mobile device, and combines a touchscreen display and full keyboard to cover all bases. The E6 will be obvious choice for anyone using the E71 or E72 and looking for an upgrade.

Compared to the Nokia E72 the E6 has four times the display clarity so images will be much sharper. It weighs in at 133g and is more compact than the Nokia E7. You will also find 3G, Bluetooth and 8GB of on board memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
